White is the cleanest-looking finish in the Lambda i8 range and the one that asks the most of its owner. It shows marks first and it shows them clearly, which is either the reason to buy it or the reason not to.
The device itself is unchanged from the other five colours: Smartcore induction, 200 to 300°C adjustable, 3 to 6 minute adjustable sessions, 3200 mAh battery, LED display, 83 grams.
What Actually Fits This Device
There is a persistent piece of misinformation in UAE listings for the Lambda i8, and it is worth correcting properly because it costs people money.
Several retailer pages state that the i8 is compatible with HEETS. LAMBDA’s own product documentation says the opposite, in plain terms: the device is for TEREA sticks and not for HEETS.
The reason is physical rather than a licensing decision. Smartcore induction works by generating heat inside a metal element that sits within the stick itself. TEREA and SENTIA sticks contain that element. HEETS do not, because HEETS were made for blade devices such as the IQOS 3 DUO, where an external heated blade was pushed into the tobacco.
Put a HEETS stick into an i8 and the induction coil has nothing to couple with. No heat is produced. What you get is an unheated stick, tobacco left in the chamber when you pull it out, and a cleaning job.

Living With a White Finish
The compatibility question is the important part of this page. This is the practical part.
White shows everything. Skin oil, dust, the faint grey that pockets deposit on pale surfaces, and tobacco debris around the chamber rim. None of it is damage and all of it wipes off, but you will be wiping more often than a Grey owner does.
The chamber rim is the area to watch. On Black or Green, small amounts of loose tobacco are invisible until they build up. On White they are visible immediately, which is annoying and also useful, because it means you clean on time.
Over long ownership, the concern with pale finishes is gradual discolouration around the heat zone rather than sudden staining. Keeping to the cleaning rhythm and never using solvents is what prevents it. Chemical cleaners lift pale finishes unevenly, and the patchy result on white is more visible than on any other colour in the range.
If you want the look without the upkeep, Grey is the closest finish that asks less of you.

Note specific to this colour: the supplied USB Type-C cable is usually white, which matches this device better than any other in the range. Worth mentioning only because Gold and Red owners often replace theirs for that reason and White owners do not have to.
How to Use It
- Charge fully before first use, roughly 2.5 hours over USB Type-C.
- Power on and check battery level on the LED display.
- Set the working temperature, 200 to 300°C.
- Set the session time, 3 to 6 minutes.
- Insert a TEREA stick to the printed filter line.
- Start heating and wait for the ready indication.
- Use for the duration set. The device ends the session automatically.
- Remove and dispose of the used stick. One stick per session.
Storage and Care
Below 60°C at all times, so never in a parked car during a UAE summer.
Wipe the exterior with a dry microfibre cloth. On white this is a regular habit rather than an occasional one, and doing it often with a dry cloth is far better than doing it rarely with something chemical.
Brush the chamber every twenty sticks or so, once completely cool. Tip the debris out rather than pushing it in. Never use water, alcohol or solvents anywhere on the device.
