To store TEREA sticks, keep the packs sealed until you use them, and keep them somewhere cool, dry and dark, away from sunlight, humidity and hot cars. Heat is the main enemy of TEREA in the UAE: it dries the tobacco, weakens the flavour, and can soften Pearl capsules. An opened pack is best finished within a few days. Cartons should stay closed in an air-conditioned room, never in a car, a balcony or a hot storeroom.

Why heat damages TEREA
TEREA contains real tobacco, and heat dries tobacco. A dry stick tastes flat and harsh and gives a weaker aroma. UAE summer temperatures and closed cars make this damage fast. A parked car in the sun gets much hotter than the air outside, so even a short stop can harm a pack.
Storing Pearl capsule sticks
Pearl sticks have a flavour capsule in the filter. Heat and pressure can soften or break the capsule before you use it. Keep Pearl packs flat, cool and sealed, and do not squeeze them in pockets. Our TEREA Kazakhstan Pearl and classic range includes 5 Pearl sticks.
Opened packs
- Close the lid after every stick.
- Finish an opened pack within a few days for the best taste.
- Keep opened packs out of humid places such as bathrooms.
- Do not move sticks into loose cases where they can bend.
Storing cartons
- Keep cartons closed until you need a new pack.
- Store them in an air-conditioned room, away from windows.
- Use the oldest carton first.
- Do not store cartons in a car boot, garage or balcony.
How to tell a heat-damaged stick
- A dull or stale smell when you open the foil.
- Dry, light-feeling sticks.
- A flat or harsh taste in the first puffs.
- Pearl capsules that do not click, or feel soft.
