Neon is the outlier of the ILUMA Standard range. Where Pebble Gray, Pebble Beige, Azure Blue, Moss Green, and Sunset Red are permanent range members, Neon was produced in a limited run brighter, bolder, and not restocked on a normal cycle.
The device inside is the standard two-piece ILUMA: slim pen-style Holder plus Pocket Charger, running Philip Morris International’s SMARTCORE Induction System with Autostart. No blade, no residue, no cleaning.

There’s a widespread assumption that limited editions are upgraded versions — better battery, faster heating, extra features. That assumption is worth correcting before you decide what a limited edition is worth to you.

How to Use It
- Charge the Pocket Charger fully before first use around 2 hours 15 minutes over USB-C.
- Slide the Holder into the charger to top it up; a Holder charge takes roughly two minutes.
- Insert a TEREA stick up to the line on the filter, without twisting.
- Autostart begins heating automatically. Ready in around 15 seconds.
- Draw for up to 6 minutes or 14 puffs. A vibration signals the end approaching.
- Bin the used stick and return the Holder to the charger.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the limited edition perform better than a standard ILUMA?
No. Battery capacity, heating temperature, uses per charge, session length, features, and stick compatibility are all identical. The difference is entirely the finish and packaging.
Then why buy a limited edition?
Because you want that specific look, and because limited runs aren’t reissued. Those are legitimate reasons. Expecting better performance isn’t.
Will it be restocked?
Limited editions are produced in fixed runs and generally don’t return. If it’s out of stock, the five standard colourways are the same device.
How do I know a limited edition unit is genuine?
Buy sealed from an identifiable seller and check the accessory set is complete. A genuine ILUMA also refuses to activate for anything other than a SMARTCORE stick, which is a useful practical test.
Does it need cleaning?
No. There’s no heating blade, so no residue accumulates. The metal heating element sits inside each TEREA stick and is discarded with it.
Which sticks does it take?
TEREA sticks only, from any origin. HEETS and other non-SMARTCORE sticks won’t activate it.
