FlexPuff, Explained Without the Marketing

FlexPuff is the headline feature of the i series, and almost every listing describes it as “up to 4 extra puffs” and stops there. That leaves out the parts that determine whether you’ll actually benefit.

🎯 What FlexPuff Is, and When It Won’t Help You

What it does

A standard session ends at 6 minutes or 14 puffs, whichever comes first. FlexPuff can extend the puff count to up to 18: but still inside the same 6-minute window. It doesn’t lengthen the session, it changes which limit you hit.

You can’t switch it on

FlexPuff is system-controlled. There’s no button, no app setting, and no technique that guarantees it. The device reads your usage pattern and decides. It won’t activate on every session, and it may not apply to every user.

Who genuinely benefits

People who take short, frequent puffs and regularly hit 14 well before six minutes are up. If that’s you, FlexPuff is the difference between a session ending early and running its full length.

Who won’t notice it at all

Slow, spaced-out smokers who reach the 6-minute limit before the puff limit. If time runs out first, extra puffs are irrelevant: you were never going to use them. That’s most people who draw deliberately.

The honest summary

How to Use It

Charge fully before first use: around 90 minutes over USB-C.
Press and hold the button for 4 seconds to turn the device on.
Slide the cap open and insert a TEREA stick up to the line on the filter, without twisting.
Heating starts automatically. Pressing the button for one second also works.
Begin after the second vibration. The Status Light shows remaining time.
One vibration signals the end approaching. AutoStop handles shutdown: remove and bin the stick.

What Works With It

Every TEREA stick we carry: Japan, Kazakhstan, Indonesia, Armenia, and the UAE edition.

Not compatible with HEETS or blade-based IQOS models. Sticks are single-use, contain a sharp metal part, and should never be disassembled or left within reach of children.
