How to Use It
- Charge fully before first use — around 90 minutes over USB-C.
- Press and hold the button for 4 seconds to turn the device on.
- Slide the cap open and insert a TEREA stick up to the line on the filter, without twisting.
- Press the button for one second to start heating. Ready in around 20 seconds.
- Draw for up to 6 minutes or 14 puffs. One vibration signals the end approaching.
- Remove and bin the used stick. Nothing needs cleaning.
Tap the button briefly to check the battery: four lights means 75% or above, one light means below 25%.

What Works With It

Silicone and fabric sleeves add protection, and the IQOS app adjusts light intensity and vibration.

What’s the practical advantage of an all-in-one device?
One thing to carry and one thing to keep track of. On two-piece models the small Holder is the piece most often left behind, and there’s no scenario where the charged half ends up in the wrong bag.
What’s the disadvantage?
A single point of failure. Two-piece systems allow a damaged Holder to be replaced on its own; an all-in-one is replaced as a whole. Fewer parts also means fewer things to break, so it cuts both ways.
Does Sunset Red perform differently from the other colours?
No. All five ILUMA One colourways are identical devices with the same battery, heating system, and session specifications. The only practical difference is that a bold colour is easier to spot in a bag.
How many sticks per charge?
Up to 20 consecutive uses from a full charge, with no pause needed between sessions. Charging takes around 90 minutes over USB-C.
Does it start automatically when a stick is inserted?
No. Press the button for one second to start heating. Autostart is a feature of the ILUMA i series rather than this model.
Which sticks does it take?
TEREA sticks only, from any origin. HEETS and other non-SMARTCORE sticks won’t activate the device.
