Why This Palette Has No Black
Put the three Lambda induction ranges side by side and the colour strategy is doing something deliberate.
The i8 runs Black, Gold, Green, Grey, Red and White: a metallic palette anchored by neutrals, where Black is the default most people buy. The i9 runs Black, Gold, Green, Grey, Red and Silver: the same logic, Silver swapped in for White. The i10 runs Navy, Green, Orange, Brown and Purple. No black. No grey. No silver. No default.
That is not an oversight; it is the material talking. Colour sits on metal as a coating, and coatings do neutrals beautifully, which is why black anodised aluminium is the signature look of consumer electronics. Colour sits in leather as a dye in a textured, light-scattering surface, and that surface flatters depth and warmth: browns, navies, rich saturated tones. A flat black leather device would look like a case rather than a finish. So the i10’s palette leans into what dyed leather does best, and the result is a range where every colour is a choice and none is a hiding place.
Orange is that logic at full volume, and owning it has a specific character worth describing honestly.
Visibility is total. Every benefit the Red i8 and Red i9 pages describe applies here with more force: never mistaken for another device, never lost on a table, spotted across a room and at the bottom of a bag. If devices in your circle regularly migrate, this ends it.
On leather, the loud colour softens with age rather than chipping. This is the difference between a bold colour on metal and on leather, and it favours the leather. Bright dyed leather ages the way the material always does, softening and deepening gradually at the grip points, so an older orange i10 drifts toward a warmer, quieter amber rather than accumulating damage. Sun is the one discipline. Saturated dyes give up more to prolonged direct sunlight than dark ones, and orange sits with the most exposed. How to Use It
- Charge fully before first use, around 2.5 hours over USB Type-C.
- Power on and check the LED display.
- Set the working temperature, 200 to 300°C.
- Set the session time, 3 to 6 minutes.
- Insert a TEREA stick to the printed filter line.
- Start heating and wait for the ready indication.
- Use for the set duration. The session ends automatically.
- Remove and dispose of the used stick.

Storage and Care

Frequently Asked Questions
Why does the i10 not come in black?

Is Orange too much for daily use?
That is entirely a taste question, and the honest note is that it does not stay as loud as day one: leather’s ageing mellows the tone over time. If day-one volume is the concern, Brown or Purple carry warmth with less of it.
Does the colour change the leather care at all?
Only in emphasis. The same regime applies to all five colours; orange simply pays the highest price for ignoring the sun rule, and shows chamber debris the most clearly, which works in your favour.
Will I ever mix it up with someone else’s device?
No. That is half the purchase. Nothing else in the Lambda or IQOS ranges we carry looks like an orange leather device.
Are the sessions identical to the other i10 colours?
Identical to the other colours and to the i8 and i9 at the same settings. The platform is shared; colour and material decide nothing about what the TEREA stick delivers.
Orange i10 or Red i9, for a device I can never lose?
Both end the mix-up problem permanently. The split is the same as the whole range’s: the i9 adds the sunlight-legible OLED and self-cleaning; the i10 adds the leather feel. Pick by the other features, since on visibility they tie.
