What Leather Changes, Practically

The material swap is the whole story of this device, so it deserves the whole first section.

Grip, in a climate that fights grip. Anodised aluminium is a clean surface and a slippery one, more so with warm hands, and the UAE supplies warm hands most of the year. A leather-finished body holds in the palm the way metal does not. This is the difference owners mention first, and it is bigger than it reads.

How to Use It

1. Charge fully before first use, roughly 2.5 hours over USB Type-C.
2. Power on and check the LED display for battery level.
3. Set the working temperature between 200 and 300°C.
4. Set the session time between 3 and 6 minutes. Memory holds both from then on.
5. Insert a TEREA stick up to the printed line on the filter.
6. Start heating and wait for the ready indication.
7. Use for the session length you set. The device ends the session automatically.
8. Remove the used stick and dispose of it. One stick, one session.

Storage and Care in the UAE

The battery rules are universal: never above 60°C, which means never in a parked car in summer, and out of prolonged direct sun.

The leather adds its own rules, and they are different from metal care rather than harder. Leather dislikes soaking, prolonged direct sun, and chemical cleaners even more than metal finishes do. It is happier being handled than metal is; hands are part of how it ages well. A dry or barely damp cloth covers routine care, and the colour pages cover the rest.

Chamber care is the i8’s routine, not the i9’s: no self-cleaning cycle, so an occasional manual brush-out of the chamber mouth with a soft brush, always cool, never wet, never metal.
