Leather in the Gulf: The Actual Care Guide
Leather goods live well in this region, as every majlis and every car interior here demonstrates, but they live well because their owners know three or four things. A leather device is no different, and this is the guide the box does not include.
Heat is the enemy, twice over. The 60°C parked-car limit exists for the 3200 mAh battery on every device we sell. On the i10 it protects the body too: sustained high heat dries leather, and dried leather stiffens and can crack at flex points and edges. One rule, two reasons. The car in summer is out, the sunlit windowsill is out, and the poolside table through an August afternoon is pushing it.
Sun fades brown honestly. Prolonged direct sunlight lightens leather the way it lightens everything, and brown shows the drift sooner than navy or purple. Weeks on a dashboard would leave a visible difference between the exposed face and the shaded one. Normal daily carry does nothing of the sort.
Moisture in passing is fine; soaking is not. Humid air, the odd splash wiped promptly, hands after washing: none of this troubles leather. What damages it is saturation, so the i10 does not go to the beach bag with the wet towels, and it gets wiped with a dry or barely damp cloth, never a wet one, and absolutely never a solvent or alcohol wipe. Chemical cleaners that merely dull an aluminium finish will strip and stain a leather one.
Hands are the treatment. Here is the part that surprises people used to babying metal finishes: handling is good for leather. The light oils in skin are part of how it develops its patina, the gradual deepening and softening that makes an old wallet look better than a new one. The areas you hold most will darken slightly and soften first, and on brown this reads as intended. The i10 is the one device in our range that improves in the hand.
The chamber is metal business as usual. None of the leather guidance applies inside. The chamber gets a soft dry brush occasionally, cool, exactly like the Lambda i8, and nothing liquid or metal ever goes in.
That is the whole regime. Less effort than keeping a white metal device looking new, different effort from keeping a black one scratch-free, and the only range where time spent carrying it counts as maintenance.

How to Use It
- Charge fully before first use, around 2.5 hours over USB Type-C.
- Power on and check the LED display.
- Set the working temperature, 200 to 300°C.
- Set the session time, 3 to 6 minutes.
- Insert a TEREA stick to the printed filter line.
- Start heating and wait for the ready indication.
- Use for the set duration. The session ends automatically.
- Remove and dispose of the used stick.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will the brown leather crack in UAE heat?
Not in normal carry. Cracking follows sustained drying, which follows sustained heat and sun exposure. Keep it out of parked cars and off sunlit surfaces, the same rule the battery already demands, and the leather stays supple.
How do I clean the leather body?
A dry or barely damp cloth, then let it dry naturally in shade. Never alcohol wipes, cleaning sprays or solvents; what dulls an aluminium finish will strip a leather one.
Is the darkening at the grip points damage?
No, it is patina, the normal ageing of handled leather, and on brown it blends into the base tone. It is the same process that makes an old leather wallet look better than a new one.
Can I condition it like a leather bag?
It does not need it, and keeping products away from a device with a heating chamber and electronics is the safer default. The routine above is sufficient.
