Two Purples, One Family
The ILUMA i range has carried two separate purple finishes in different markets, and the names get used loosely by resellers. Sorting them out before you order saves a return.
Digital Violet is the one sold as part of the standard four-colour UAE lineup for the i Standard. Deep, saturated, leaning blue-purple. This is the colour on this page.
Electric Purple has appeared in some markets as a separate finish, running brighter and more neon, with indigo accents rather than a single flat tone. It is not the same colour, and it is not the standard UAE i Standard option.
Listings sometimes use the two names interchangeably, or label a photo of one with the name of the other. If the exact shade matters to you, look at the photograph rather than the name, and specifically check whether the body is a single deep tone (Digital Violet) or shows brighter neon and indigo shifts (Electric Purple).
Beyond the naming, purple behaves differently from the other three finishes in one way that is worth planning around: it changes character more than they do depending on where you are.
Under UAE daylight it reads as a clean saturated violet, close to how it photographs. Under the warm yellow lighting common in restaurants and majlis settings it deepens and can look almost burgundy at a glance. Under cool white office and mall lighting it swings the other way and reads noticeably bluer, sometimes closer to indigo than violet.
None of this is a defect. It is what deep purples do under different colour temperatures. But if you chose it from a daylight product photo and first see it under warm indoor light, the first impression can be different from what you expected. Give it a day before deciding.
The practical benefit is the same one Terracotta has, in stronger form. Nobody picks up a violet device thinking it is theirs. Note specific to this colour: if you plan to add a wrap, avoid clear or translucent ones. They shift the perceived tone of a saturated violet more than they do on neutral finishes, and the result rarely looks the way the accessory photo suggested.
How to Use It
- Fully charge the Pocket Charger before first use. Roughly 135 minutes over USB-C.
- Press and hold the Pocket Charger button for four seconds to switch it on.
- Place the Holder inside. Charging begins automatically.
- Insert a TEREA stick up to the filter line until the Holder vibrates.
- Heating starts on its own, or swipe up on the Touch Screen to trigger it. Ready at the second vibration.
- Use for up to six minutes or fourteen puffs. A vibration signals the last 30 seconds or two puffs.
- Remove the used stick and dispose of it properly. One stick per session, no exceptions.

Storage and Care
Deep saturated finishes are the most affected by prolonged UV exposure of the four, because there is more pigment depth to lose. Months of direct sunlight on a windowsill or dashboard will visibly dull a violet before it does the same to a matte black.
The 60°C storage ceiling applies as it does to every colour. Parked cars in UAE summer are the main risk, and the device should never be left in one.
Clean with a dry microfibre cloth. Chemical cleaners can leave lightened patches on a saturated finish, and on violet the contrast makes those patches obvious in a way they would not be on a neutral colour.
