How to Use It
- Charge fully before first use — around 90 minutes over USB-C.
- Press and hold the button for 4 seconds to turn the device on.
- Slide the cap open and insert a TEREA stick up to the line on the filter, without twisting.
- AutoStart begins heating. Wait for the second vibration before drawing.
- Draw for up to 6 minutes or 14 puffs, with FlexPuff possibly extending the count.
- One vibration signals the end approaching. AutoStop shuts the device down.

What Works With It

Do I need the IQOS app to use the device?
No. AutoStart, FlexPuff, and the full 20 sessions all work without it. The app is for adjusting light and vibration settings, checking battery status, and keeping firmware current.
Can I switch battery modes in the app?
Not on this model. FlexBattery, which trades consecutive uses for Holder battery lifespan, applies to the two-piece ILUMA i and i PRIME devices. The i ONE has no separate Holder battery, and it already manages 20 consecutive sessions.
Is there an app setting to force FlexPuff on?
No, on any model. FlexPuff is system-controlled and activates based on your usage pattern.
Does Brown perform differently from the other colours?
No. All five ILUMA i ONE colourways are identical devices with the same battery, features, and specifications.
How many sticks per charge?
Up to 20 consecutive uses from a full charge, with no pause between sessions. Charging takes around 90 minutes over USB-C.
Which sticks does it take?
TEREA sticks only, from any origin. HEETS and other non-SMARTCORE sticks won’t activate it.
